BeeSchool Demo Day a Huge Success!
Our MeckBee Introductory Beekeeping School provides an Equipment Demonstration Day to supplement and reinforce classroom instructions. Robert Suydam and his big gang of volunteers this year organized fun interactive demonstrations of beekeeping gear and techniques including:
We also started what should become a new Demo Day tradition - a big BeeBQ lunch prepared by Sylvia and Mike Kelly. It proved to be very popular with the Mentors!
Thanks to Robert, our volunteers and Mentors, and the 200 attendees for making it a very fun Saturday. Very special thanks to Mike and Sylvia and Tucker for hosting the BeeBQ and Equipment Demo Day at their Millwork on 31st cabinet shop.
